Step aboard for a relaxed day on the water, where good company meets the fun of fishing! We’ll set off from Tauranga in the morning aboard Ratahi, with Skipper Sarah at the helm. Our mission for the day?

Bottom fishing – think tasty Snapper, Trevally and other delicious reef fish.

Between drops, you can kick back and relax with a coffee or tea, or get hands-on learning how to bait your own hook, choose the right gear, care for your catch, and even fillet your own fish like a pro.

We’ll keep you fueled with fresh coffee, tea, water, and a delicious lunch, and we’ve got all your rods, bait, and tackle ready for you. Whether you’re an experienced angler or touching a rod for the very first time, you’ll be supported, encouraged, and celebrated the whole way.
